Biography
Dr. Emad Ewais serves as President of the Central Metallurgical Research and Development Institute in Helwan, Egypt, where he holds the position of Professor and Head of Division. He earned his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry (Ceramics) from the Faculty of Science, Cairo University, in April 1997, following his M.Sc. in Chemistry (March 1992) and B.Sc. in Chemistry (May 1987) from the same institution. His research has made significant contributions to advanced ceramic materials, with his most-cited work, "Sialon from synthesis to applications: an overview" (2021), receiving 42 citations and establishing him as a leading authority in the field of sialon ceramics and their industrial applications.
