Overview

Alcohol-related problems are conditions that result from the consumption of alcohol, including alcohol abuse and dependence. These problems can range from mild to severe. Long-term alcohol use can lead to an increased risk of developing certain illnesses, such as liver cirrhosis, some cancers, and cardiac disease. Alcohol-related problems in society may also include impaired driving, violence, and alcohol poisoning. Alcohol-related problems can cause significant distress, affect relationships and work, and increase the risk of developing mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety. Therefore, it is important to understand the risks associated with alcohol consumption and seek professional help if necessary.
