Overview
Blood cancer, also known as hematological cancer, affects the production and function of one's cells that make up the blood. Symptoms vary depending on the type of blood cancer, but may include fatigue, fever, night sweats, weight loss, anemia, bruising, bleeding, bone pain, swollen lymph nodes, shortness of breath, and more. Early signs of blood cancer can be overlooked or attributed to other illnesses, so it is important to visit a doctor if any of the above symptoms present themselves.
