Biography

Dr. Eman NasrEldin, MD, is a Professor at Assiut University Faculty of Medicine in Assiut, Egypt, where she also completed her medical education. Her research encompasses a broad range of clinical and translational topics, including rheumatologic disease biomarkers, hematologic disorders in pediatric populations, transplant immunology, respiratory medicine, and infectious disease diagnostics. Her most-cited work, "Value of Platelet Distribution Width and Mean Platelet Volume in Disease Activity Score of Rheumatoid Arthritis" (2020), exemplifies her contributions to identifying novel laboratory markers for disease assessment. Dr. NasrEldin's publications reflect sustained expertise in areas such as tuberculosis diagnostics, post-transplant complications, pediatric thalassemia, and airway inflammation in asthma.
