Biography

Dr. Muhammad Akram holds a PhD from Hamdard University and currently serves as Assistant Professor in Teaching and Research at GC University Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. His research focuses on parasitology and diagnostic methodologies, with particular emphasis on helminth infections in humans. Dr. Akram has published over 12 indexed articles, including his most-cited work on the prevalence, risk factors, and diagnostic tools for helminth infections (2020), which has received 42 citations. He is an approved research supervisor for PhD degrees by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and has received multiple academic honours throughout his career, including merit scholarships and top positions in his professional examinations.
