Biography

Nicolas Williet is affiliated with the University Institute of Cancerology and Hematology of Saint-Etienne (ICHUSE), France, where his research focuses on pancreatic cancer, interventional endoscopy, and ultrasound echoendoscopy. His work spans inflammatory bowel diseases, including studies on cytomegalovirus in ulcerative colitis, fecal calprotectin and infliximab trough levels for predicting clinical relapse in Crohn's disease, and patient-reported outcomes in clinical trials. He has also contributed to research on hepatocellular carcinoma treatment and colorectal adenoma biomarkers. His most-cited publication, "Randomized Phase II Trial Evaluating Two Sequential Treatments in First Line of Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer: Results of the PANOPTIMOX-PRODIGE 35 Trial" (2021), has received 61 citations, and he has authored over 17 indexed publications.
