Biography
Zhang Yu is affiliated with the Harbin Institute of Technology in Harbin, China, where research contributions span diverse scientific domains. Notable work includes investigations into particle physics through collaborations with the ATLAS detector at the LHC, examining luminosity determination, electron reconstruction, and production cross sections in proton-proton and proton-lead collisions, as well as studies with the TOTEM experiment. Additional research encompasses multiphase transport phenomena, thermal modeling of pulsating heat pipes, and resonance analysis in particle decay processes. The most-cited publication, "Valorization of River Sediments in Sustainable Cementitious Gel Materials: A Review of Characteristics, Activation, and Performance" (2025), reflects expertise in sustainable construction materials and the utilization of industrial by-products in cementitious systems.
