Biography
Dr. Karim Jahangiri is an Assistant Professor at Miyaneh Branch, Islamic Azad University, Miyaneh, East Azerbaijan, Iran, where he specializes in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). He earned his PhD from Payame Noor University (PNU), focusing on second language acquisition and pedagogical approaches. His research examines the cognitive and instructional dimensions of language learning, including working memory capacity in acquiring L2 structures under explicit and implicit conditions, the development of implicit knowledge through varied instructional methods, incidental vocabulary learning through collaboration, and fossilization patterns in inflectional morphemes among Persian learners of English. Dr. Jahangiri's work contributes to understanding how linguistic structures and instructional strategies influence second language development.
