Biography
Dr. Yin-Quan Tang is a Senior Lecturer & Researcher at Taylor's University, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, with over 15 indexed publications spanning cardiovascular biology, oncology, and infectious disease research. His research has investigated the limited angiogenic capacity of the mammalian heart following birth, presenting findings at multiple international conferences including the Heart Failure 2017 Congress and ESGCT meetings. He has also explored the anticancer properties of natural compounds, notably authoring the highly cited review "Honokiol: A Review of Its Anticancer Potential and Mechanisms" (2019), which has garnered 167 citations, and investigating medicinal plants such as Phyllanthus against melanoma and prostate cancer. Additionally, Dr. Tang has contributed to studies on microvascular endothelial responses to dengue virus infection, demonstrating a multidisciplinary approach to translational biomedical research.
