Biography
Dr. Lalit Kharbikar is affiliated with the ICAR - National Institute of Biotic Stress Management. He holds an M.Phil. in Molecular Diagnostics from Harper Adams University, an M.Sc. in Agricultural Biotechnology from Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Raipur, and a B.Sc. in Agriculture from Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, with coursework spanning genetics and plant breeding, biochemistry, microbiology, plant pathology, entomology, and plant physiology. His research focuses on molecular diagnostics and plant health, exemplified by his most-cited publication on the impact of pre-harvest rainfall on fusarium mycotoxin distribution in wheat mill fractions (2018), which has received 25 citations. He has authored over 10 indexed publications contributing to the fields of biotic stress management and agricultural biotechnology.
