Biography
Florin Graur is an Associate Professor at Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. His research encompasses surgical oncology, minimally invasive surgery, and the application of nanotechnology and artificial intelligence in cancer treatment and pancreatic surgery. He has contributed to studies on laparoscopic cholecystectomy outcomes, liver metastasis resection, rectal tumor staging, and novel drug delivery systems using carbon nanotubes. His most-cited publication, "The role of artificial intelligence in pancreatic surgery: a systematic review" (2022), has received 26 citations, and he has authored over 25 indexed publications addressing clinical, technological, and ethical dimensions of surgical innovation.
