Biography
Mohammad Javad Amiri is affiliated with Fasa University, Iran, where his research focuses on wastewater treatment, bio adsorbents, and hydroinformatics. He has published over 24 indexed articles addressing heavy metal adsorption using novel organic-inorganic biocomposites, including barley straw ash, ostrich bone waste, and functionalized nanoparticles, as well as modeling evapotranspiration and climate change impacts using adaptive neural-based fuzzy inference systems and support vector machines. His most-cited work, "Optimization of the lead removal from aqueous solution using two starch based adsorbents: Design of experiments using response surface methodology (RSM)" (2019), has received 80 citations. His contributions span kinetic, equilibrium, and thermodynamic investigations of metal ion adsorption and the application of machine learning techniques to environmental and water resource challenges.
